What To Do In Phuket In 3 Days

Day 1: Beach / Hike + Old Town Exploration

Morning: Start your day by basking in the sun at one of Phuket’s beautiful beaches. I liked the serene Kata Beach to enjoy the sand, sea, and sun and hiking.

Afternoon: After a relaxing morning on the beach, head to Phuket Old Town. Immerse yourself in the charming Sino-Portuguese architecture, colorful streets, and vibrant culture. Explore local shops, cafes, and museums for a taste of the island’s history.

Evening: Visit one of the lively night markets for a cultural and culinary adventure. The Phuket Weekend Market is a great choice, offering a variety of great yummy Thai food dishes, handmade products from local artisans and other types of unique souvenirs.


Day 2: Morning food stands and Big Buddha

Morning: Embark on morning breakfast run at local family run food stalls that cook up some lovely homemade recipes before hiking up to see the Big Buddha.  

Afternoon: Return to the main island and visit the Big Buddha. Marvel at the 45-meter-tall statue that symbolizes peace and prosperity. Capture panoramic views of the island from the elevated location and grab some nice photos from above.

Evening: Experience the vibrant nightlife of Phuket by heading to Bangla Road in Patong. This lively street is lined with bars and clubs, offering a lively atmosphere for a memorable night out.


Day 3: Wellness, Culinary Delights, and Muay Thai Fun

Morning: Indulge in a morning of relaxation at one of Phuket’s renowned spas. Enjoy a traditional Thai massage and foot massage for some relaxing vibes and pampering.

Afternoon: Experience the thrill of Muay Thai by joining an introductory class at AKA Thailand, one of the island’s best gyms. It’s a fantastic way to stay active and immerse yourself in Thai culture.  I went to the studio that had an open space gym and practiced with them all over noon then grabbed a late lunch near by to further satisfy your culinary journey in Phuket.

After dinner, take a leisurely stroll to explore the vibrant night scene or simply relax on the beach, reflecting on your three days of exploration, relaxation, and adventure in this tropical paradise.
